Water Street Cafe
Hello All,
The Mrs. and I have been having breakfast at the Water Street Cafe in Laconia for two and a half boating seasons. The food is excellent , the service is good, and booth or table turn around is usually a five minute wait. Check it out here http://www.water-street-cafe.com/.

I agree, they also have good lunch and dinner selections, although breakfast there is my favorite choice.

Last Friday I died and went to fried clam heaven!
A friend told me of the Water Street Cafe the other day and said you could get "All you can Eat" Whole Belly Fried Clams for 19.00, I said... right.
Well six of us went and 3 of us are Huge eaters and we were up for the challenge. Hands down the best clams I have had in a long time and I love my clams. We each had Three Big Plates of Canadian clams each fried to perfection and the biggest bellies I have seen in quite awhile. No skimping here, friendly service and how can you beat that price. I have paid more than that locally for 1/3 of what I had. My clam fix has been satisfied for a good while but if it strikes again, I know where I am going to go for another fix. Also for your info, they have all you can eat Haddock, and Prime Rib also on Friday Nights.

Been meaning to try that place out for a few years. You got my mouth watering. The best clams i know of are Pop's and Kevin's, and Kevin's has all you can eat fried clams on Fridays, or at least he did last year.

Local favorite
OK. The cat is out of the bag! The cafe has been a local favorite for years and the locals are enough to keep the place busy and profitable.
Hopefully this thread does not open the floodgates! The cafe is located next the the Winnisquam public boat launch. Many of the fishermen stop here before returning home.

Kevin's still has all you can eat clams on Friday nights as well! I have not had Water Street Cafe's and I am sure they are quite good but IMO Kevin's are the best.
