Default Campgrounds in Wiers Area

Question for the Forum .......

What are the names of some decent campgrounds in the general Wiers area that will accomodate a 27ft "tag along" ?

We were sitting with some friends last evening who have a new camper and told them they should join us at Winni over the Labor Day week-end (yes we know reservatons this late may be tough). As we won't be up the Lake ourselves for another week, I thought I'd draw on the Forum to develop my list of "campgrounds to check out" for them when we are up. I am aware of the campground (Northern end) of Paugus Bay by the tracks (no clue as to the name). Any and all other names are appreciated. We are trying to keep them close to us-- so the immediate Wiers area is all we need.

Thumbs up

We have been seasonals at Hack-Ma-Tack for 6 years...in our opinions, it would be tough to find a better place to spend camping time...we love it there.

I went to college with owners son Al. Have camped there a couple times (late season) and had great times there.
