Default Tonights sunset...

Just thought I would put this up as it was the end of a
very long day at work today. I just sat in my truck and watched as the sun set over the other side of Melvin Village.
No noise except that of the cold wind blowing the snow around over the ice. It was rather nice to not be thinking of anything except that wind.....Then off home and to shovel the rest of the driveway from the drifting snows grasp.

Excellent photo! Just set it as desktop background on my PC. My wife loves it.

Default Dec 30th Sunset

Doesn't quite do it justice as I only had my blackberry to shoot the photo, but tonight's sunset from Cate Park in downtown Wolfeboro was remarkable.

I agree. I was not able to grab any shots as I had left my camera in my truck and was driving the SUV last night. If anyone noticed the Ossipee's were a lavender color for quite some time as the sun went down. Then the sky turned a brilliant orange well after the sun went below the horizon....I have to get a second camera to leave in the other car.....
