Pristine.
I think it was the best day trip on the lake all summer!

Agreed. Going to top it off with the foliage cruise on the Mount tonight. Perfect day

Sorry, early morning buffoonery I was talking about Saturday not today.
Us and another boat at Paugus Bay / Margate sandbar, but by three the party was rolling well over 25 boats. MP rolled up and out from Lakeport just to make sure everything was in control....

Default Weekend was a mad house

with the usual law breakers. Heading out today so that I can have the lake to myself! Life is good!

Arrow Saturday much less "So Pristine"...

Friday evening, we were treated to fireworks. 'Not sure what they were celebrating. Maybe the 1870 "Siege of Paris"?

Last Saturday, I watched a pair of Loons "fishing" with two youngster-Loons close at hand—undoubtedly related. The lake was peaceful—near calm.

Not much time passed before the usual Donzi (white with narrow yellow / red pinstripes) came blasting into Winter Harbor. While there were only a few boaters to endanger at 75-MPH, his day trip was more important than all other boaters'.

'Haven't seen the NHMP in Winter Harbor since July.

Maybe Sunday was.

Sunday, the usual suspect returned with a passenger. His top speed was maybe half of Saturday's.

Not that the minx can roast along at 75 MPH, as it has a SBC and is under powered at that and can't achieve much more than 65 MPH.

But we are all adhering to the 43 MPH limit right?

Doesn't the lake belong to "everyone"? Whatever happen to "live free or die"?

There's no such thing as free. If that were true we would all be dead.

Well, that's refreshing!
Your Mass-I-tis is showing.

I used to be in paradise for the month of August at Camp Idlewild as a sprite.
I was then afforded (quite frankly) the luxury of being on the lake again for two weeks every August at my uncle's property on the water in West Alton. All those imbued memories are now gone. It is day trips only now, and I relish every second of being there!
I'll end by saying I had a great day on the lake.

He must be referring to his disease, some kind of fugus that NH residents are immune to.

Fungus?
It is more like a communicable disease down here, and it is now reached pandemic proportions!

Looks like today, Sunday September 29, will be the final day for summer style weather, with 100% sunshine and temps ranging from 58 to 80.

Starting tomorrow, it cools down to a range from 40-65 with some rain.

Seems like September has been a way warm and dry month and at 68-degrees, the lake water temp is still swimmable without a wet suit shorty.
