Default Hb 162

I am by NO means trying to start a ruckus here -- my question is simply informational --

As I am now away from the Lake for the Winter season and thus out of the loop on daily chatter - Does anyone have any knowledge (not guesswork) on where HB162 sits??

While we're at it -- did the NWZ for Eagle/Govenors make it or not through it's final hurdles? I know it was approved by Marine Patrol - but understood there was more to the process. Has an implementation date been set??

A Happy & Safe Thanksgiving to all

HB-162 came out of the committee with an approval. However the vote was almost an even split and the committee issued both a majority and a minority opinion. It will now go before the House of Representatives in January. It still has a few hurdles to go before it will become a law, as it will need Senate approval and the Governors signature.

The NWZ between Eagle Is and Governors Is has been approved and I believe it will be in place for next year.

Default Who's misinformed?

The NWZ queried in the beginning post was indeed approved by Commissioner Flynn and the order mailed/signed August 24, 2005.

It will be in effect for the next boating season.

Cool Oops

I meant HB 162, not the NWZ.
Sorry.
