Default Grapple load / firewood

I am looking for help comparing prices for grapple (picker) loads of firewood. At this point I'm waiting for return calls. $900.00 is the only number I have received. Has anyone else started?

Default That is a good price

From my experience getting fire wood in Maine, that is a good price.
Now the question is how big of a load is it? If it is a 10-12 cord load then that is a good number. If it is a short truck and the lengths are shorter then maybe not.
Great spring/summer workout. I've got it down to a system where I can cut, split and stack a cord a day. That is using a splitter and a hand kart that will hold a lot of wood, to get it from the splitter to the pallets I stack it on.
I'm switching to pellets ASAP. 2 chimney fires and the mess associated with bringing the wood through the house is enough for me. Either that or I install an 8" stainless liner, but we are still left with the mess.
