Default Suissevale Help

Does anyone own property at Suisevale? We are looking at year-round house there right now and would like to get some feedback from folks with experience with theAssociation, etc.

Default Suissevale

I know there have been threads on this in the past -- maybe if you search the archives you may find something? Good luck!

Default Suissevale website

Suissevale has a great website www.suissevale.com. From my experience it is a great community with one of the nicer beaches on the lake. The association is easy to work with and there are many homes available in Suissevale.

My folks have owned in there for about 25 years. Good place the family has enjoyed it. The association is run well and the place is kept up pretty well. They have parties and get togethers throughout the year and own their own clubhouse which you may have seen. Forget about a dock the waiting list is about 20 years or so (literally!!) The association is getting busier and I've seen the beach get more and more crowded through the years. Well, can write all day I suppose but I hope you get the drift.

I can second that assessment. I rented a place there while I was a student at Belknap (a long time ago ). One of my roomates bought the place, still lives year round there and is now on the Board of Directors of the association.

Default Thanks for your feedback

Thanks, everyone, for all your feedback. I have seen the Suissevale website, and financially, they do look okay. I am a little concerned about non-paved roads and almost no street lights or stop signs on the roads. Also, never lived in a place with "community water"
