NavAids
Does anyone know when MP puts in the Navaids for the year? Specifically I'm curious about the course from Melvin Bay out thru the graveyard and along Tuftonboro Neck.
Thanks! Matt |

I haven't been there since ice-out, but ...
From past experience, the navaids are always there. Only the lighted buoys are removed. Wooden place-markers are tied to the moorings of lighted buoys over the winter. So if you plan to boat during the day, there should be little difference. As for the lighted buoys, the MP's goal is to start replacing them right after ice-out to complete the process by Memorial Day. |
