Boat Rentals
Hey All
I'm new here. We're renting a house on the lake in July and I was looking to RENT a small simple boat (like an aluminum rowboat with a 10 or 15 HP outboard motor). We're staying in Gilford, but I get no replies at all from Fay's Boatyard or the other one (the name I cannot remember right now.) Any ideas/suggestions??? I simply want a small boat to be able to take my son fishing, but don't want to pay more for the boat than I paid for the house. Thanks Dennis |

Try Anchor Marine or Thurstens. Both rent boats, not sure of sizes / rates, etc.

Rough Water
Be aware that on weekends with boat traffic and during weekdays with less boat traffic, but with somewhat windy conditions, that part of the lake can get very rough. A small, light, open boat will be risky at times. Be careful!

not sure how familiar you are with the lakes region, but i would suggest trying out winnisquam marine. they are located right next to the bridge going over lake winnisquam. this is still a good size lake just a short ride from winnipesaukee. i am pretty sure they rent 12 footers w/ 10hp.
