Default Bittersweet Invasion

I have an enormous amount of Asian Bittersweet spreading on my property and am at a loss of what to do. Any recommendations to eradicate it or for a property maintenance contractor would be highly appreciated.

We were just discussing this today at our Wolfeboro garden club clean up at Bean Park.

The future railroad museum had a ton of it and and it was pulled up by its roots, disposed in bags because seeds spread and the vine itself has runners.

Roundup will kill it, but the runners and roots really have to be attacked as well or it'll show up again. Do frequent checks and remove it anytime you see it.

It's a monster!

It IS a monster and it is everywhere! It is choking out trees on main roads.

It is awful stuff and so prevalent now. I’ve heard from some that turkeys are key to spreading it.

That makes sense. We have a ton of them that visit everyday. Anyone have a bittersweet and turkey soup recipe :-)?
