Question Soaring Gas Prices

It's starting all over again like last year. http://www.usatoday.com/money/indust...gas-usat_x.htm

Any guesses/predictions as to where the dock gas price will peak out and settle into this year? This could become an annual watch just like Ice Out.

Gassed up in Chichester on wed, $1.82. Today, I believe it was $1.96!

Angry gas guzzlin' cigarette boaties

Well, it all depends what you is a boatin'. As it has been mentioned here previously, some here have their 8000lb-32'-twin engine-Baja-killer bad buoy Bandit-1100hp boats, and then some have their Lund 18'-aluminum-community friendly-four stroke outboard boat which daintily sips gas, and very quietly (HA!), as well. So, gas prices are very subjective & elementarily relatively elementary, or someting like dis, ahem ahem!

This really is all just a crock, there's never a shortage, only fat, lazy profits for the oil companies. You and I will have to just pay unless we smarten up and use less. Oh well.

Default hate to break it

Hate to break it to you guys, but its going to be what its going to be and thats about it lol. Doesnt matter how big the boat is or how big the motors are, you pay the same per gallon. Im guessing this year 2.12 at the Gas dock.

ITD-
Unfortunately your are correct. Supply and demmand really has nothing to do with gasoline prices. Oil companies are in bed with the Cartel and many politicians are in bed with the oil companies. What other industry can raise pricing whenever they want and never have to answer for it? Fuel cell technology exists and could replace fossil fuel, but there is no incentive for vehicle manufacturers to pursue it. The fact that this country depends on a resource that it doesn't own, and those who do are our sworn enemies boggles my mind. Until consumers band together to force change, nothing will happen.
