Default Buyer Real Estate Agent

Can anyone recommend a buyers real estate agent that knows the Gilford area really well.

I have placed calls to two agents who have not returned my calls.

Thanks

Ellen Mulligan, 603-387-0369. I went through four agents who didn't want to work before I found Ellen. I've bought two homes with her in Gilford. You will not be disapointed. Tell her Paul sent you.

roy sanborn. he's a family friend that we've known for many years. he sold my last house for me, and also sold my parents' current house to them about 10 years ago. great guy, easy to work with, and will do whatever it takes to get a deal done.

Jerry Gagnon of JG Real Estate- he is on the Town of Guilford Planning Board and is very knowledgeable.

Also, Steve Gray of William Reavis RE in Alton & Scott Knowles of ReMax in Laconia.

Has anyone dealt with the Bean Group? I've been looking at houses online through their website.

I had a listing with the Bean Group a few years ago. They are a reputable agency if that is what you are wondering.

Question Additional Question

We are selling a house in Laconia (South Down) and the contract with our current realtor will be expiring shortly. We will be looking to make a change if the property does not sell prior to the expiration of the existing agreement.

Who are the top realtors for sellers covering the Laconia market? This is a higher end property for Laconia.

Thanx in advance.

My family is using a Bean group agent for buying. Haven't made an offer on anything yet, but so far so good. Met through a neighbor of our old house in Mboro.

Do you have a link to the house that's for sale? How much are the taxes for it? Thanks

We used Kevin Shaw from Roche to buy and sell in SDS and we're extremely happy. We also used Kevin to buy our current house outside the gates.

Another vote for Kevin Shaw, we are in the process of both buying and selling, he's an absolute pleasure to deal with!

Your real estate company. They're out of concord but do the lakes region. The owner/ broker has been the president of the concord board of Realtors a few times and really knows her stuff.

Probably the best known and apparently the most successful is Susan Bradley. She seems to have most of the listings on Governor's Island, where she lives, but she also covers the other areas of the Lakes Region. She regularly advertises Lakes Region properties in The Wall Street Journal.

Others certainly worthy of consideration are Jerry Gagnon (his agent, Jerry Annis is Pres. of the golf club right near South Down), Ellen Mulligan & Judy McShane

I have 17 years in the mortgage business and over 20 years in real estate. I work for Bean Group in Meredith and live in Gilford. I have also been boating on Winnipesaukee for 50 years and my family has been on the lake since 1938. I know it very well. If you'd like to talk feel free to call me.

The person I was talking with (I really don't want to name names or where she works from) has pretty much backed out of showing us any houses while we're here. I had looked forward to looking at some houses. We're going to buy, but just not right this minute. One of the main reasons we came was to look at houses. I guess I'll see if some one else would want to show us some houses while we're here.

If you are referring to the 4th of July weekend, it is difficult. The sellers may have guests and/or be entertaining, or at least using their summer home. I have been told many times over the years that my sellers do not want their house shown on the 4th of July weekend. If you would like to see some houses for sale on the 3rd, or after the 6th, give me call!

We'll be at the lake the 3-5 of July, but we'll be within an hour away till the 14th. We'd be happy to look at places after the 4th. I didn't really plan on looking over the holiday, but rather during the time we'd be here afterwards.
