Winnisquam Ice?
I know this is a Winnipesaukee fourm but, there are some of us that own cottages along Winnisquam that follow this site and I was wondering what the ice conditions were like in the south bay of Winnisquam, along the south/west shore ( Brecks Shore) in Belmont from the outlet to the campground beach. We're looking to head up next weekend from CT and open the cottage up and was wondering if there would be enough open water to get the water pipe into the lake.

Ice Out is Coming
CPS... The ice is moving out. It is all open around the bridge for quite a way south and to the "Sand Bar" on the north. Sections along the shore are opening too. Over by the Pontoon Dealer it is opening nicely.
Yesterday I was on Lakewood Drive, Tilton Side across from the campground I believe, and it will not be too long for ice out. I am not familar with how Winnisquam opens but it looks to be working towards it. I posted a photo http://www.winnipesaukee.com/photopo...php?photo=6012 from the beach at Lakewood. Hope this gives you an idea.
