Inaccurate online search and map information
After experiencing several cases of bad information about local businesses from Google search and maps, I got curious and checked up on some of my favorites. What I found is that dots on the map and hours of operations seem to be wrong more than they are right.
For free, any business can go to Google GYBO.COM or BING BINGPLACES.COM to claim their business and populate or correct information for the search engine and online maps to use. There is a free seminar on March 9'th in Center Harbor to guide people through the process, but most should be able to do it without help. Businesses that need help or want to attend the seminar can email centerharbornhcommunity@gmail.com

The addresses usually aren't correct, especially in outlying areas. If our clubs actual address is used, it points to a location about five miles away. We had to use the actual lat and long. to get it correct.
I'm not aware and any way to correct the location for a residence. |
