Default Bigfoot Sighting

Rumor has it that the Discovery Show "Finding Bigfoot" will be visiting the woods around the castle in the clouds area. Supposed to be a prime spot for these hairy beasts as there is plenty of prey and water in the mountains.

Default Bigfoot?

I was hiking with my 2 dogs behind Castle in the Clouds last year and I definitely felt something watching us for about 2 minutes. The hair on the back of my neck suddenly stood up and I felt very uncomfortable.

I can't explain it better than that, but it was the first, last, and only time I've ever felt like that on a hike.

I never once thought of Big Foot (my first thought was a mountain lion, especially when we had turned our backs on the area I felt we were being watched from).

The fact that my pups didn't smell or notice anything eased my mind a little bit (they can spot or smell a deer minutes before I can know there are any in the area). But it was a very eerie feeling. I didn't like it in the least. It passed quickly though and I've since told a half dozen people about it.

I always wanted to believe in Big Foot as a kid (what 12 year old summering in NH doesn't) but who knows. I catch myself watching the Discovery channel any time a Sasquatch documentary comes on.

The one thing that sticks in my mind is when a scientist said people very rarely find bear carcasses and they're a lot more prevalent than "Big Foot".

Which can dispel the argument of, "Why doesn't anyone ever find a dead one?"

This thread should definitely take some interesting turns.

Looking forward to it.

I've never come across a bear carcass, but I've come across bear tracks and scat a lot more than bigfoot tracks and scat...like many times versus never. Still fun to believe though.

My exact thought in all the years they have been investigated isn't it interesting no signs have ever been found. Sure maybe the videos of them which never really shows much and more times than not is proven to be phony anyway. The day ( I ) encounter a ghost or bigfoot then I'll believe. Still a perfect record of it not happening in 50 years.

Default What?

I actually like watching that show and way down believe there may be something like this out west. I have to admit they must be running out of credible places to shoot.
In the last month or so they have been checking out some really questionable locations which leads me to think they are now staging the show more then investigating.
Me thinks there a squatch in these woods!!!!!
Or maybe Castle in the Clouds isn’t doing so good and they need the publicity.
That makes more sense

I attended a Christmas celebration at The Castle In The Clouds last December. I saw Bigfoot sleeping in one of the bedrooms. He sure looks friendly when he is sound asleep!

I don't know why that hit my funny bone the way it did, but that image made me laugh.

Yes- I took the picture of that young hairy creature last Labor Day. I couldn't figure out what is was, but now that you mentioned it I am sure it is Bigfoot Junior. I haven't seen him since that scary day. I hope he doesn't return once again because I will be terrified!!!!
