Default Home Inspector recommendations in the Lakes Region?

Hey forum members!

You guys have been tons of help in the past and so I turn to you again for advice.

I am looking into purchasing a home in the Lakes Region and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good and thorough home inspector? Some one who would really tear the home apart so to speak, look through everything, even get a little dirty crawling through everything! I am mechanically inclined and pretty handy but I want an expert in home inspection.

Any advice would be great, thanks!

Thumbs up Waterloom

I have used them three times, they are very through and very reasonable.

Default Wrong order...

...you have to get some nincompoop to do your inspection, and then wait a few months for major problems to develop, and then you call Mike. He comes in, does his Holmes inspection, finds all these things wrong, takes it all down, sprayfoams, and gives you a fantastic remodelled house, and then you get to host a party for the crew. Simple!

Back to the local stuff.

I watch that show every night! His work is top notch...I think he's based in Canada. The spray foam he uses looks to be the cat's meow...

The show stated the homeowners pay about 10-20% of the "normal cost" after contributions are made from the TV Network, volunteering, and donations.
