Question Restaurant Coupons/Discounts

Last season there were links on the forum for restaurant coupons. I was wondering what the current situation is. For example, Restaurant.com has coupons to the following area restaurants: Weirs Beach Lobster Pound, Lyons Den, Club 59 in Wolfeboro, Heat Restaurant, and The Manor On Golden Pond. They used to carry Mise En Place, but no longer.

Any links or suggestions for restaurant coupons or discounts would be appreciated.

Default Restaurant coupons & cetificates

Here are the website addresses for Dollar Saver & Good Eats. I have used both & have never had a problem with either one. Check back frequently with Dollar Saver as restaurants using this service come & go.

For what it's worth, I've tried many of these sites and subscribe to some of them daily, such as Groupon.com, which sends offers for services, attractions, and restaurants. We've enjoyed several outings this summer for 50% less than the ticket price (like Clark's Trading Post) because of the savings from Groupon - I highly recommend that and restaurant.com. Some of the others I've listed, like Brad's Deals, can be hit or miss, but they do offer significant savings most of the time.

What do you put in for a local city at the groupon website? I don't see any in NH

I use Portland, ME and Boston, MA for any/all of those sites. You'll get NH stuff through that - no worries. (Some allow for Manchester, NH to be selected as a city, too.)

Restaurant.com most certainly has NH and then you can drill down by area or region, city/town, and so on.

www.restaurant.com has a coupon deal through the 24th. Most $25 certificates are $1-$2 when you use the promo code 'JOY'.

Note: I haven't tried using these before, the site is VERY swamped right now, and there is some fine print that goes along with them, but...I'll risk a buck or three to see how it goes.

Some places on the list from the area are: Wolfe's Tavern, The Corner House, Wolfgang's, and Club 59.

Default Good deal and not had a problem.

We have used them locally, and used them to send gift certificates to friends who live in other parts of the country.

We simply present the coupon when we order (most of the time they say hold onto it until we bring the check). Some places have a minimum on food, limitation on days of the week, and some will add a 20% tip to bill before discount is taken. We have no problem with any of that.

Our friends who live elsewhere have had good success with them and found places to eat that they would not have gone to on their own.

Smile Woodshed & Restaurant.com

Thanks SD,
Restaurant.com coupons now don't have an expiration date. They used to expire in one year. I ordered mine right away. Sometimes there are a limited number that the restaurant will issue per month.

Thanks Shore Driver. I purchased four $25.00 Woodshed certificates for $2.00 each. You can use the certificates on weekends and you only have to purchase two entrees ( no minimum dollar amount). I have purchased from Restaurant.com for many years. These Woodshed certificates are good as they have very few restrictions.
