Default Mallard Portrait

Taken today in some nice sunlight in the Lakeport area of Laconia. Av Mode ISO 200 1/200 sec f/5.6 with 7D and 400 f/5.6L

I saved the pic and will try and enlarge it to see the individual strands of hair that make up the duck"s feathers. (pet project of mine as far as researching mites on ducks, but particularly geese). Given the equipment you have, could it have been photographed in an even higher resolution? Not saying this was inadequate, just asking if higher was possible? Thanks.

Actually the resolution of all the images I post here are very low, just 72 dpi. If I had intended to print the image I would have saved it at 300 dpi and that image would be fine to blow up to see detail, but it would have been too large to post.

Geesh. I can almost see your reflection in it's eyeball.
Nice pic res for 72 dpi. I did not realize all your postings were only 72. Good info.
