Default Landmark Inn Went Above and Beyond!

My husband's family came to visit us in Laconia this past weekend. They wanted a reasonably priced hotel to stay in as they would basically just be sleeping there and visiting with us during the day and evenings. They are elderly, retired, and on a fixed budget. (Unfortunately, we did not have room for all of them at our very small cottage).

The four booked into the Landmark Inn in Laconia. My father-in-law is very hard of hearing. Upon inquiring when they checked in, they learned that they did not have closed caption TV's. BUT to their surprise, the next night upon returning to their room, there was a different, larger TV, with closed caption!!! The Landmark went out of their way to accommodate them and we sincerely thank them for their extraordinary service!

Disclaimer: We are in no way related to the Landmark owners. Just sayin' that they deserve recognition.

Default American Disability Act

Kudos to the Landmark Inn for being receptive to those with disabilities. I believe the Inn is owned by the Antico family of Margate.

Margate has been responsive to those who need assistance as well as hiring those who has disabilities.

If anyone has a problem with any business in being receptive to your disability please contact the NH Disabilities Rights Center - http://www.drcnh.org/

If you need help in employment because of a disability please contact NH Vocational Rehabiltation - http://www.education.nh.gov/career/vocational/index.htm

Thumbs up Very Good Customer Service!

That's great that the Inn stepped up to help someone with a disability. From experience, I can tell you that nothing is worse than traveling with a disability and have to compromise accommodations. From Closed Caption TV to an available HP room with a wider entrance door for a wheelchair or scooter. I'm glad that your family enjoyed themselves.
