The Patriot Resilient Leader Institute/Camp Resilience is pleased to announce the first formal orientation sessions for area volunteers. The orientation is scheduled for 7 PM on August 8th at the Gilford Community Church Meeting Hall with a repeat session scheduled for 10 AM on August 9th. “Camp Resilience has grown significantly in the past year” said Kurt Webber, founder of the PRLI, “and our need for volunteers has grown accordingly. We’re interested in letting any potential volunteer learn more about our organization, its needs and its veterans” Webber added. Attendance at either of the orientation sessions is not a commitment on the part of the potential volunteer, but an opportunity to see where each individual’s skill sets and talents might fit in to assist returning veterans coping with the visible and invisible wounds of war. Anyone thinking about how they can lend their talents to volunteering with veterans is encouraged to attend one of the two scheduled sessions. Each session is scheduled to last an hour with time for individual questions. No RSVP is necessary. Light refreshments will be served.
