Attempted Kidnapping in Loudon?

Has anyone else seen the story going around on Facebook, about a lady who had been beaten and forced from her own car? Supposedly this happened in Loudon, where she was stopped by "road construction workers" and then jumped by them. I cannot find anything news related to this or even a police statement. Is this a hoax or is it this a real deal?

It was a hoax. Apparently she’s done this before.
