Looking for a designer
We are buying a home in Gilford and could use a designer to advise on some floor plan changes as well as some exterior mockups/renderings from siding options. I don't think I really need one of the big guys, this isn't a huge project, but could use someone that has some technology behind them that can work on this digitally, not just a sketched floor plan.
Also, someone that could advise from an interior design standpoint. We have a rough idea of what we want and have contractors lined up. Any advice? |

The siding, roofing, door & window supplier have free online systems that work very well for existing buildings.

What are you seeing for lead times on windows and doors presently? Our last project used Marvin and we were happy with them. My wife likes the black clad inside and out. I am open to other brands as well.

Placed an order for Marvin Elevate Thursday or Friday... ETA is May 2nd, but that is by computer scheduling and is very tentative. I find them to be close, but not always on the money. I would put it around 14 to 16 weeks.
Essential is probably about the same; and Signature would still be in the 24 to 26 week range. Though I did just get replacement sashes for a Signature initial quality issue that were incredibly fast at just a couple weeks... so they are definitely focused on customer service. |

We also used Decorative Interiors three years ago when we were adding a four-season sunroom. We needed advice on size of door openings from the adjacent living room and that lead to tricky furniture placement. They were great!
