Default Speed Limits

The NH House recently voted to increase the speed limit on parts of I-93 to 70 MPH. Now I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth (few minutes shorter to the Lake!), but it's clear that there are far more accidents on the roads caused by speed, compared to the few (if any) speed related accidents on the Lake. I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but what a disconnect!

Yes, you are preaching to the choir, but not everyone in the choir is singing the same tune!

If you must resurrect a discussion that has been thoroughly beaten to death it should be placed in the "Speed Limit" section (so most of us can ignore it) and not under the "Getting there" category......PLEASE

Default NHPR page

Up on the left hand corner is a new bio on Calvin Coolidge. He was a visionary conservative who promoted ideas of limited government and individual responsibility. He also oversaw an era of remarkable growth and optimism that preceded the Great Depression.

Maybe we need someone like Calvin back in the helm today!
