Dog ramp
We were watching the Steamboats on Saturday up at Lee's Mills, and one of the boats had a yellow "ramp" that the owner put out to enable their two dogs easy return access to the boat. Never saw one before. Each dog was wearing a yellow life jacket with the handle on the top. The ramp seemed to be made of a thick, rubber material that enabled the dogs to get a "claw hold" and climb up into the boat from the water. They loved it. Wish I had invented it!

RE: Dog Ramp
I was one of the three boats in that raft up. That was the first time that those two dogs had used the ramp. I was surprised that the dogs took to it so easily.
It was the same ramp as Bill provided the link to, I beleive the dog owners said they paid about $200.00 for it. |

I am currently looking at two different dog ladders/ramps for my boat:
http://www.doggydocks.com/ and: http://www.petclassics.com/Boat-Dock...atform.29.html Both look promising, but neither is cheap. Both also have videos of dogs using them. |
