Talk about humid...
Man is it just me or is this like Florida during the summer?
I see they are saying temps of 95 degrees on Thursday and Friday in the Laconia area. Gonna be tough to take unless you are in the lake. Just think..... |

I'll take the 95 degrees to your picture
Yes, there was a time not long ago, that I would have claimed the snow in your picture was still not very much. Give me the Endless Summer |

winter
I'll take winter over summer any day. Especially hot humid summers, give me low to mid 70's all summer long and I'd be happy.
Of course if you worked outside all summer you would probably have a different outlook. When I worked in engineering in a climate controlled cleanroom I longed for those hot summer days. Now even consuming up to 1.5 gallons of water a day the heat still drains me. |

I agree, skip summer. Only 156 days until the 1st day of winter.

We don't get enough of these days, Sunday was a perfect summer day, temps around 90, a little breeze, couldn't get much better.
I don't think a dozen or so hot days out of the 365 is asking too much, don't worry you will get your cold days and plenty of them. Enjoy the summer everyone while it lasts. |

I totally agree with BIS. We don't get enough of these days. I love them. I do feel sorry for those that have to manually work outside in the heat though.

I work outside most of the day. Even inside we have very little AC.
As restitution, in January I'll post a picture of a Summer Scene....Or maybe a picture of the thermometer on this coming Friday....98 degrees....Yikes. Water up! |

I'm hoping the power grid just completely gives up...and I have to leave work early...then take the boat out and go swimming

Temps hovering around 98 down here today, hazy and air quality is poor.
We are heading north in a few hours to cool down at the lake, maybe a midnight swim too. |
