Default Winter Island Access

All-
I brought this up as a topic a couple of years ago and got mixed responses. What is the best way to legally access the islands in Alton (Sleepers and Rattlesnake)? I don't wan't to go through West Alton Marina due to construction and no tresspassing signs (I want to respect the private property as I use the launch a lot in the summer).

I know awhile back, others mentioned using the Rattlesnake Island launching area, but there may be problems with parking there. Can anyone give me an update on this?

Just looking for legal ways to access the islands without violating anyone's private property.

Thanks

Default RI Landing

You can get towed year around at Rattlesnake Landing if you don’t have a valid pass

Minge Cove Marina is for members only, you need a parking pass to safely park there.

I actually have spoken with several folks over at Minge Cove and they have granted permission. Based on conversations that I have had, I would recommend anyone wanting to park there to talk to a slip owner and obtain permission as the slips are privately owned by individual slip owners.

Thank You all for you help.
