Default Steam boats in Moultonborough 2022

Where's the best place on land to view the boats this coming weekend; can't seem to find much information online about the event. TIA

Lee's Mills launch is where they set up, and if you're fairly early you should be able to park in the lot or along the road. If you ask, you might even be offered a ride—the group is very nice, and they bring a super unique experience to the lake.

Agreed. Drive right down to Lee's Mills and walk around and hang out. I was asked last time I was on the land (usually in the boat) but my 4 year old at the time refused to go!!! I was very upset!!! He's just shy

For anyone who hasn't seen them, here's a series of videos I made in 2010:

Typically they have been the first Saturday (noonish if I remember) and last Sunday (10amish if I remember).
I know last year the Sunday one was pushed to Saturday but I went over and they still did one on Sunday, just a little smaller.

It's 9 o'clock on a Saturday, and the regular steamers haven't shuffled in.

I expect they'll be coming around our cove starting sometime in the second half of the day.

Default Steam boats are there….

We went out on jet skis a while ago, and aside from the beautiful weather and no idiots out there that we could see, Lees Mills was going full steam ahead with all those glorious boats. It was terrific seeing everyone having such a great fun out there. Hopefully they will have a great week.

Soooo...in years past, the second parade was on Sunday at 10. Last year, they changed it to Saturday at 10 but I figured that was a one-time thing.

Does anyone know for sure? I'm asking because we've been hearing them and just came down and think we may have missed the parade.

Got there around noon today and stayed inside the Lee's Mills Cove until around 4pm today. It was fairly quiet compared to previous years where they were coming and going all day. I'd say only about 6 or so boats were coming and going. We went into the Basin when we left and saw a couple that we had seen leave, and heard some of the one's that had distinct whistles but never did find them. Didn't seem to be as many this year than in the past few years.
Last year there was a "second" parade on Sunday (I was at the Wolfeboro races on Saturday and missed the scheduled one) and I will say that Sunday one was very fun and I have video of about 15 boats on Sunday that were very interactive with the boats that were hanging around. Followed them into Green Basin and let them circle around us.
