Default Osteria Poggio...

Yay or nay...??

Thinking about dinner there tomorrow night with visiting friends. Reviews seem very good!

To those who have been, your comments and suggestions would be appreciated!

Thanks!

Dan

Yay. The food is good, the selection interesting. Sometimes, when busy, the service is a little spotty. But overall you will enjoy the experience.

Default A Definite "Yes"

...see my comments in the thread, "where to go for a special birthday dinner", here in the restaurant section, from mid September. We went there for our anniversary in early Sept and it was fantastic. 2 thumbs up!

For Osteria fans out there note that the chef, Kaylon Sweet, is offering cooking classes on 3 consecutive Tuesdays in January, starting on the 7th. My wife has signed up for all three. You can pick one or more. Not exactly cheap, but finished meal and wine included. I figured it was a reasonable investment in my culinary delights. See the Osteria website. I have no connection with Osteria, other than enjoying the food and atmosphere.
