Default 1 week slip rental

Hi all - I have a friend coming to visit the first week of August and is bringing his boat (23 ft). Wondering if there is anywhere I could potentially rent a slip for a week (we are in Gilford).

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

thanks for tip. Fay's did not have any available. Do you think a rental for whole month of August would be easier or harder t find? Not sure if some places have minimums...will do some more calling.

Must it be a slip? A valet service (Fay's, Thurston, Channel) might do a week.

Everyone is quite full this year. Winni is not known for transient availability. Try channel or Parker. Both recently were listing limited availability.
Maybe they can help out.

Default Lakeport Landing

Not sure if they still do, but Lakeport Landing used to rent slips for transients. Worth checking.

Hope this helps,
Bill

You can not sublet your Mountain View Yacht Club slip for a week.

Couldn't you "let a friend use it?"

No, you can't let a friend use your slip at MVYC

Default "Rules are made to be broken"

In the past at MVYC, illegally docked (trespassing) boats have been removed from the water, and there was a lift fee to get it re-launched. Hope you come back before the lift driver leaves for the day.

You would think there would be more transient slips available with not being able to spend the night on your boat while at anchor.

The marinas would rather take the sure thing and rent for the season rather than hope people will need it for a week here and there.
