HI FOLKS! I live on Silver Lake. Several years ago I built a 25' pirate ship for my son, now 13. We plan to take it down to Lake Winnie from July 8-13...the first 3 days will be with two old schoolmates (class of '56) and then I'll pick up the
kids for a couple more nights.
I know that your lake is a bit more crowded than ours, to put it mildly. If any of you have an unused dock, beach, etc. that we could overnite at with the boat we'd be much obliged. You can contact me at hunt@roadrunner.com I'll email back a pic of the pirate ship and, since I am an artist, a picture of it from my imagination called SAILING HOME. The boat also has that name.
Thanks for considering this request. Trust me you'll enjoy having this quirky boat in your vicinity. It's even got a wooden figurehead gracing the bow.
CHeers, Huntington Barclay (Hunt)
