Question Lake Winnipesaukee Motel

I have been looking for a place to stay that has WIFI and good prices. I received an email today that Lake Winnipesaukee Motel in Wiers Beach has WIFI and also has really good prices for what they offer.

I was ondering if any members of the forum have had good and/or bad experiences with this motel?

I stayed there one weekend, probably 3 or 4 years ago? Nice owner, pretty neat spot. Great backyard as well. Give him a try, it's a very unique and friendly place.

I have never stayed there but it seems every time I went past they had a "No Vacancy" sign out if that tells you anything.

I am not the one to trash a place but.... we stayed there back lets say 2004-2005 and we had a back room. The trash was rarely emptied and we found the rooms very small and the shower is only a stand up shower and was very slippery, but this was a few yrs back so I am not sure if its any better. The owner was very nice though and that was a plus and the rooms were neat inside just the outside could have been kept better.

Unhappy Gotta be better than Wolfeboro Inn

Wolfeboro Inn is NOT the place to stay. It used to be great but was taken over by a corporation and they don't have a clue.

Wouldn't a sit down shower be a tub?

Thumbs up Great place to stay

I wanted to post how wonderful the owners are of the Lake Winnipesaukee Motel. Rob and Donna are so friendly and hospitable. We had the small efficiency that has total privacy and a great screened porch, unfortunately it was kind of cold for the porch, but it was a great room.

Made me feel like I was at home, not those boring white sheets, but nice colorful sheets like if you were staying in someones guest room.

My only complaint, and it is not much of one would be to put bigger TVs in the rooms, with the room as large as they are, having a little 19 inch TV up in the corner of the room makes it very hard to see any words on the screen.

Other than that, the room was great, the location could not be any better or any more convenient to everything. Will definately make this my annual stopping point.
