Default What was the name of ......

Morning All-

Last night the family began reminiscing old places & restaurants that are no longer. Cheque Harbour, B Mae's, Willows, Chases, Mames, Abondante's, Cherry Stones etc etc

We all got stumped trying to name the restaurant that use to be on the Weirs rotary (now a vacant lot) ????

I know there is a Thread in here somewhere that had the name and pictures but I will be damned if I can locate it...………. solve the query, it's driving us all nutz

So how about the Italian family rest. on or near Spindle Point? We went from Birch Island by boat to eat there. Red & white checkered tablecloths. It was fun.

Default What was the name of the Chinese Restaurant on Rt 3 Meredith/Laconia line?

It was located where the dock company is.... I remember it was pretty good and I think it had a partial view of the lake....

jade island

I made some deliveries there over the years and I remember the screen door to the kitchen having about an inch of grease on it and pounds of moths and flies stuck in it.

We trailered our Wellcraft up to Shep Brown's to broker it for sale one Wednesday night way back in the day. We left Mass after work and got stuck in traffic with an accident scene on the opposite side of the highway. We didn't get to Meredith until about 9:30 that night to drop it off out on the neck. By then we were very hungry....the only place open was this horrible excuse for a dining establishment. Food was gross, never went back and wasn't surprised when they closed down shortly after
