I strongly recommend Ginger at MoonLite Auto Transport in Hudson, NH. We have transported autos between Miami and Moultonborough for 14 years and she has been the best.

It is a difficult business but she has been honest and on time. Probably not the least expensive but reliability and auto care have been our primary criteria.

Are you looking for an open or enclosed transporter?

I remember there used to be a billboard along 93 in Manchester advertising an auto train for many years. Prob drove by it 1000 times and never paid any attention to the details

We shipped 2 vehicles with these guys when we moved from NH to FL:
http://www.shipcar.com/

It was about $900 for each vehicle (separate shipments). One was picked up at our house, the other we dropped off at their facility in Canton, MA (was on our way anyway, and saved ~$150).

No complaints, I don't think it was an enclosed carrier.

I had a pickup truck shipped from Florida to Gilford with these people. When the delivery was made to Gilford, the vehicle's windows were open, and the inside of the vehicle was soaking wet. Even the cup holders were full of water. I got pictures of everything, and sent them to the transport company. They denied that there was a problem, and jerked me off for quite some time.

My time is valuable, so I didn't sue them or anything like that. But whatever you do, stay away from these morons.

If you go to www.Craigslist.org you may be able to find someone willing to drive the car south for you at little or no charge.

It's not the only option, so you should do your due diligence prior to going that route and selecting someone.

try uship.com. you submit what you're shipping and the to and from info and people bid on the job. they have ratings and reviews similar to ebay so you can check on who you're dealing with. i had a boat shipped from wisconsin to my house and was very happy with the service and the price. it cost me about a third of what miles marine wanted to charge me.

How about a dog transport? The companies I’ve seen online are very expensive.

Do check with your insurance agent or company.
Do check the insurance that the car transport company has.
Do take pictures of car at/near the transport truck.
Note condition of all body sections.

Default Baier auto transport

Just had a car shipped from lakes region to Venice FL with Baier Auto transport out of Seabrook. They picked car up from home and delivered without issue to us in FL. Four day total from pick up to delivery. It was $945 one way. Price varies at different times of the year but generally hard to find a company in late fall who will ship for less than $850 (check references carefully). I would not hesitate to use Baier again. Their people and trucks are high quality.

Try JCN Shuttle out of Wolfeboro - I haven't done car transport with them, but have used them for local transport around Wolfeboro/Tuftonboro and Jeff (owner) has been excellent.

Steve, are you still operating? I am looking for an Orlando to Lakes Region transport so this would give you a round Trip? Let me know and we can talk further. Thanks
