Just curious...how do you keep someone from posting bad info such as pricing. Is it possible a competitor would purposely post an inflated price?

Reason I ask is I posted a price for Y Landing at 2.49 per gallon for 93 octane, today someone posted that it was 3.07. Hard to believe it went up 60 cents in two days....maybe I am totally off base and the price did go up that much?...

There is no real way to stop bad info from being posted. If anyone sees a bad price, just post the correct price as soon as you see it.

But any bad info can be fixed with a click, anyone can correct a bad post in an instant.

IP addresses of price reports are logged, so if someone is posting bad info on purpose, they can be blocked, etc.

I tried to encourage gas dock owner/operators/attendants to post their own fuel prices each time there is a price change, but I think only a few are doing this.

I wonder if someone meant to report their diesel fuel price but hit the wrong link? I tried to make it obvious that one listing is for gas and the other is for for diesel to minimize any confusion. When I stop by Y landing, I post prices for both gas and diesel.

Thanks for posting the price update!

As of this morning, there are only three fuel prices that haven't been reported yet for 2020, it would be nice to have these reported soon if anyone happens to visit one of these fuel docks.

We need these updated on WinniGas.com:
$3.94 07/21/19 Meredith Marina - ValvTect, Meredith, NH
$3.89 08/19/19 Y-Landing Marina (DIESEL) - DIESEL, Meredith, NH
$3.37 09/21/19 West Alton Marina - ValvTect, Alton, NH

Default West Alton gas closed

Per their website, WAM based docks closed until late May for gas dock upgrades. (Yeah, I know it's late May right now. Don't shoot the messenger! ).

Launch: open, $45 credit card, $40 cash. (Off the website, don't shoot the messenger. Twice. )

Any more information about WAM, go to www.westaltonmarina.com .

It looks like all prices except WAM have been reported by now.

Thanks everyone for your price reports.

Yes, and I stopped by Pier 19 and had a talk with the operator there. They are pumping fuel, but don't have a phone number or web site yet.

I updated their hours on WinniGas.com
