Thumbs up The Camp

Hi all,

We went to The Camp for dinner last night. In the past, I have had poor experiences there, but my daughter wanted to try it again.

Fair is fair....it was very good last night. The service was prompt and friendly. The food was well prepared and timely.

We have eaten at the Camp three times this summer and it was great every time. I had the shrimp scampi twice and the pot roast the last time. My daughter raves about the chicken fingers. Also, don't forget to order the camp crackers.

of the restaurants at MIlls Falls I prefer Camp and Lago to the restaurant at Church Landing.

We ate at Camp just over a month ago, with a party of 9. My wife's scampi had zero flavor and was sent back. There was no seasoning to it, it honestly tasted like a bowl of pasta soaking in water. The rest of our meals were just average.

They were great about taking it back and offered to make up in any way possible. Since we stuffed ourselves on the appetizers she chose to not eat the meal (she picked at mine) and in place they took it off the bill and gave us free desert.

The apps were great, the mussels were good and the onion rings were more than impressive. I have driven cars with tires smaller than their onion rings!!!

Default The Camp

Have eaten there several times, and thought the food was pretty good. I think it would be a fun place to go of you have children.
