Default Winter Storage

Anyone have recommendations where to store a boat over the winter? I had been using Glendale until they closed. I was not happy with who I stored the boat with last year (inside the boat was filthy when it was returned). Looking for somewhere in Alton, Gilford, Laconia area. Thanks!

Well you could store it at NHIS they have a program which allows you to use the garage area over the winter.... Of course you still need to get the boat winterized.

Check with Dave's Motorboat Shoppe in Gilford. He does a great job with storage!

Indoor or outdoor? Check with Miles Marine for outdoor storage/shrink wrapping.

I've had good experiences with Andrew's Marine Service in Minge Cove.

Their prices are fair and they have always completed the work on time.

Who was it stored with last year?

We started to keep ours indoors at Andrews Marine in Gilford last year after our boat was given back in April with no bimini top and missing some other expensive parts from the previous marina.

Andrew's also just added a new indoor storage facility for this year. Referrals get 10% savings!

I'll put a plug in for Andrew's Marine. Great place to do business. Their rates are very competitive and inside winter storage at their new facility is the way to go.

I had my boat shrink wrapped at Ship Shape Marineworks in Gilford last year and they had an option to pay a little more and you could keep it there for the winter.

Give Fays boat yard a call. I over winter my boat there and they have been excellent. Jeff and his father are true gentlemen.

I am a retired workaholic and continuing aquaholic.
