The Wright Museum
I had heard that the Wright Museum was accessable by boat although I called the museum to verify this and they though not. Anyone know if access by boat is possible without docking at Wolfboro docks??

From the town docks, you cross Main Street and head down the side street to the old Railway Station. there are parking lots off the back right end of the station, and I believe there is a trail along the east/south side of Back Bay (see attached link to a topo map of Wolfeboro, and you will see a dark line that takes you over to Rte 28 at the Smith River) and that will take you to the Museum, which is right on Rte 28 at the Smith River. What I don't know is how long a walk it is...I would guess nearly a mile, but it should be a nice walking trail.
Other option would be from the Town Docks, go out through Cate Park, cross main street and take Lerner St (down the side of the Rite Aid, over to Rte 28, and walk rte 28 to the museum. Either way is probably going to be a twenty minute walk, or so.

The only way by boat is parking at the Wolfboro town docks. Upthesaukee is correct. If you cross Main street & pass Baileys Bubble walking toward the Railroad Depot there is a nice walking path that proceeds along back bay follow it all the way to route 28 & the museum is directly across 28 from the path. Its a nice walk about 20-30 minute walk.
