O'Brien Super Screamer. Simple, inexpensive and rugged. Get two and have MUCH more fun.

I think the larger 3 and even 4 person tubes work best even when there are only 2 on them. They are much more stable. The rule change a few years back that allows you to tow more than 2 people was a great move. I think it actually makes it safer. As my boys got older they wanted more speed, whips and overall craziness. I can now tow 2 tubes with 3 kids on each and the fun comes from battles and jumping one to the other. This is done at a much slower speed.

We have a Rave Tirade. Had it for four years and it has held up very well. Seem to recall it being around a couple of hundred bucks.

We love our Formula 2. We've had it for 5-10 years without a problem. You really have to try hard to flip it, it's very comfortable to sit in and has well placed handles to hold on to.

Researched forever on these last summer and everything I found pointed to the Big Mable. Turned out to be as perfect as everybody said.
