Best Mountain Biking Roads/Trails ?
A group of us is planning a Memorial Day weekend in Wolfeboro with our bikes. I already know the rail trail, but I was hoping for the option of dirt roads we could ride in the area. Maybe we'll just ride and see where the roads take us. Would be glad to report back. Does anyone know if Sewall Woods is open to Mt. bikes?
thanks, wolfegirl |

Try Gunstock
The trails at Gunstock are a lot of fun. They do not yet have their "summer" Web site up, but I'd imagine they have the trails open to bikes come Memorial Day. All you have to do is buy a $5 pass and you have access to miles of nice trails -- everything from fast singletrack to good hills. Long, easy climbs and rolling hills and also nice technical stuff.

Mountain Biking
If you go to the Nordic Skier Sports store on the main drag in Wolfeboro they will sell you a photocopied map with the local trains marked up for a buck. They even had some trails down by my house off of Merrymeeting Lake Road in New Durham. Hope this helps.........
