Default First day boating

It was a pleasant early morning trip out to Welch, calm water and just a few parches of skim ice. We saw only 2 or 3 other small boats out fishing. We did not encounter any floating debris however moderate speed and a close lookout is recommended for a while.

As with last year two island neighbors of ours made it out to Welch a day ahead of us. Oh well, better late than never
