Default Boat Painter

I have a boat that received a couple small scratches in it this summer and I'd like to get them repaired. I'm very particular about my things and I don't like to let these things linger. The boat is one solid color so i need someone that is very good at blending paint and make it as unnoticeable as possible. Can anyone share with me a name they would suggest for this? I'm not looking to cheap out on this, quality of work is more important to me.

Is it gel coat or paint? If it's gel coat, you may be able to fix it with wet sanding alone. Gel coat is very thick and scratches that don't expose the fiberglass under it can be fixed without adding gel coat, you simply remove the gel coat around the scratch until the scratch is gone, then polish the area back to factory shine. It will leave a smooth depression that you may be able to see if you look for it, but otherwise it's typically undetectable and there's no danger of a color mismatch.

Regardless, Unique Boat Restoration in Moultonborough can handle any sort of repair on a boat. Tom does great work.

FWIW, a "boat painter" is actually a line (rope) on a dinghy, in nautical terms.

Unique Boat Restoration on Route 25 in Moultonboro. They are awesome. They restore, repair, and paint boats from all over New England.

I'll 2nd that. The one armed man is better then most men with both limbs. He does excellent work on fiberglass/gelcoat.
