tri-toon listing to starboard side
I noticed that my tri-toon is listing to the starboard side, has anyone had this issue, wondering if the tube has a leak, it is very noticable when sitting on mooring with calm flat water.

Swam under the boat and found a small break caused by the forklift used during launching. The marina made good and replaced the pontoon. There was no question since the outline of the blade was clear. These days marinas are hard pressed for help and you never know who might be running a forklift but if that was not the cause I would get it out of the water and check for other damage. |

Keep in mind that your helm, steering equipment, and ladder are all on the starboard side. That stuff weighs more than the couch on port
That being said, watch it for a bit, if it gets worse have it pulled and checked right away. A lot of toons also have a fitting to put in the compressed air to test for leaks. If it stays constant then when you pull it for the season ask to leave it on the lift for the evening and inspected to see if you see any damage or leaking. |
