Default Diamond Shine Gilford.

I have tried several time to contact Diamond shine in Gilford to arrange detailing of my boat. I usually do it myself but I have a rotator cuff injury and will not be able to do it this spring. They do not answer their phone and I have sent them an email using their website-No Response!? Does anybody know if they are still in business?

Yes they are still in business...Leave a message on their voicemail they will eventually call you back. Might take a couple days. This is their slow time and John is most like on the road welding.

I had the same issue. Ended up using Getty Shine in Gilford and they did a nice job. I’ve also used Ship shape marineworks in the past as well.

Default Diamond Shine

John is usually booked every year. Try getting on the list at Mountain View / Silver Sands or Lakeport Landing. You can also stop at the shop.

Spoke with Robin (nice lady) today at the shop, she told me they are busy taking care of regular customers and are not taking new customers until late June or the beginning of July. They are a little expensive. I was quoted around $750 for a 24' runabout. This included hand waxing the entire boat., complete cleaning of the interior (all compartments), and treating the vinyl seats and cleaning the rugs. The ceramic coating which lasts 3 years came in at approximately $2500.

I decided to let Irwin hand wax my boat (from the top of gunwales to the bottom of the hull) and was quoted around $450. I can take care of the interior myself.

They had taken my info by the way and were going to call me back!
