Default Turkey is Comfort Food...

Picked up 4 turkey dinners at Hart's last night. Nothing like turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and gravy to help you escape from reality for a while. It was excellent, as always! What I thought was interesting was that the person at the cash register made a point to say to everyone picking up food, "thank you for your business...we really appreciate it!"

Drove by Hart's today and there were a bunch of people eating in their cars in the parking lot!

Last weekend when my wife and I walked to Meredith docks there were at least a dozen cars in the parking lot with people eating their lunch overlooking the lake.

This thread resulted in a Thanksgiving dinner from Hart's for wifey and me tonight.

Over dinner we agreed that it is better to be thankful for what we have rather than being frustrated by what we miss.

The chow was great!
