Condition of Alton Bay Launch?
Can anyone comment on the condition of the Alton Bay Launch? Looking to launch a 22' Tritoon this saturday? I know it recently had some refurbishment done.

Boat Ramp
The docks are deplorable and ready to fall in the water.
The ramp itself is in good shape and is useable. There is a ball on the left side as you look at the ramp that is tied to an old piling that is about 3 inches below the surface. Stay away from that and you should be ok. |

As long as you don't need the docks for anything you should be good. I have a relatively large boat and the last time I used it the drop off at the end of the concrete ramp was so bad I thought I was going to rip out an axle off my trailer. I had the truck in 4-low and the tires were starting to break loose. it might be better now, I haven't been back in a couple years.
