Default Tire Repair

Ok, so I don't have your number.. But this is where I have found great answers to the big and the mundane questions of being the new guy in town. Here's today. I'm in the Alton area. I have a tire on the Jeep that is going flat about every two days. Who/what/where is a place recommended for tire repair? (Told you it was a mundane question) Hey, thanks again!

Default Wayne's Transmission across from TD Bank Alton.

Give him a call. 875-0500. I know several folks who deal with him. He did take care of my daughter's car when she lived in town.

While it may just be a nail...

I've solved a few slow leaks by tightening up the valve stem core. There is a specific tool for this that comes in a green package. It is possibly "Slime" brand.

The tool fits into the valve stem and when you turn it like a screwdriver will tighten the core until you hear a click. The click indicates proper tightness has been met.
