Default I second the congratulations.

It's not easy....I tried it without studying and got whupped. Then I took the course and got a 93% in NH and a 95% in Florida. The questions are pretty much the same in all states with the exception of a few regional questions.
Nice to see people getting certified

Did anyone else think that some of the questions on the test are worded in a tricky manner?
Good work Kona Bay Girl!

Yes you have to read carefully and some questions more than once.

I took the online practice test last year. The question I missed had to do with lighting regs. You're out at night and see red and green lights, what is it ? Of course it's a sailboat under sail at night but I answered other, as in Winni powerboat with missing/burnt-out anchor/all-around light The computer was not inclined to agree with me.

I only remember one I got wrong, and it was about trailering the boat and what needed to be above water. I had no idea, considering that I've never trailered a boat in my life and that question wasn't on the multiple practice tests I took.

Oh well, I'm happy with myself.

Default Great job!

I'm glad you did well and got the "important" questions right.

It would be nice if all the questions on collision avoidance (ie: navigating around other boats) had to be correct in order to pass. I can only imagine how many people get those wrong but still pass the exam and get their safety certificate.
