Default Winnisquam ice

It looked like Winnisquam skimmed over last Sunday night. Anyone know if it held and open water is gone?

I know on saturday there was a lot of open water off of Ahern Park. I haven't been up that end since then, but down on my end by the mouth of the river it's sold, with two bobhouses way out there. Nice strong black ice, at least 6" most places as of Saturday.

As of Monday morning still open water still off Ahern Park as someone else said. Ice is 1 foot thick just south of Loon Island.

Default Winnisquam Ice

Does anyone know if Winnisquam is safe to ride snowmobiles on? I would like to hit the trail heads this weekend near the Ferry Point Inn, RR tracks to Belmont and North End by the Loon reservation. Thanks in advance.
