Lobster prices ?
What are the best prices around for fresh lobster ?
I just called the Lobster Connection at the Winnisquam bridge and today's prices are $8.99 for pound/quarters, that's crazy. Last week you could buy the same for $5.99 or less ! Suggestions wanted, thanks ! |

Last week they were $4.99/lb at Hannaford Meredith....haven't been by the fish counter there yet this week. They've been pretty cheap all summer...cheaper than baloney, in fact...

Depends if you want hard shell or soft shell... MB and most all of the grocery store chains are all soft shell...
We usually just zip on over to Rye Harbor typically (and swing by the house to grab the mail) as they are fresh off the boat! Locally to the Lake - Not sure their current prices, but last year we ran out of time and didn't make the drive to Rye - we bought a solid two dozen from Mill Street Meat Market in Wolfeboro. They were great to deal with, let us order ahead and of course were Hard Shell! Worth every penny more for the hard shell in my opinion. Had everything from the 1.5 pounders to the 2+ pounders. Needless to say, we've been back several more times and can promise you, no one is hungry once done |

Hot off the press: Vista in Laconia is having a truckload sale on Saturday with lobster at $5.99/#. I have no idea about this place, but there’s an ad in tomorrow’s LDS.

Potts harbor Lobster will be in the Faro parking lot from 10am to sell out... $4.75lb
His ad is in todays Daily Sun on page 3. Not affiliated, just wanted to pass it on! (I don't eat fish or shellfish! The first guy to eat a lobster must have been starving to death! YUCK!) Woodsy!
