Default Not a good weekend for hikers

3 hikers had to be rescued in or near Moultonboro. One suffered a heart attack and died. My condolences to his family.

I was going up Red Hill as they brought the body down. Such a tragic and sad ending.

Default I did Red Hill on Saturday as well

but went via Eagle Cliff trail from Bean Road, so I did not encounter the rescue team. It was such a nice day with beautiful views over Squam Lake.

I, too, am sorry things turned out the way they did for the folks who were stricken..
